Innoslate allows you to add an image to an entity. Below is an outline of the steps necessary to add an image to an entity:
  1. From the sidebar in 'Entity View' or any 'Metadata' tab found in the left sidebar throughout Innoslate, click the 'Change' link located in the top left corner of the entity's placeholder image, as shown below:

    Change Image Link

  2. This causes your web browser's 'Open' file dialog to appear. Browse and select the image you would like to add to an entity and click the 'Open' button.

  3. While your image is in the process of being uploaded, the top left corner of the entity's placeholder image will display that fact as shown below:

    Uploading Message

  4. Once your image has finished uploading, a thumbnail of your image will be displayed instead of the placeholder image. Remember to save by clicking the ‘Save’ button located on the toolbar throughout Innoslate, which will persist your changes to your project’s database.

Please Note:
  • Placeholder images are displayed for every entity when an image has not yet been added.
  • Placeholder images are comprised of a black background with the name of the schema-based class centered in the foreground.
