Documents Dashboard

In the Documents Dashboard, you will be able to create new documents, as well as manage any of your existing documents within the project.

Navigating to Documents Dashboard

From your Project Dashboard, you can access Documents Dashboard by clicking on the [icon name="file-lines" prefix="far"] Documents button in the top navigation bar if it has already been pinned in the MENU dropdown.

A link to Documents is also available in the MENU dropdown on the top left of the navigation bar, under the General heading.

Functions Available to Manage Your Documents

FunctionDescription
Creating DocumentsCreating a document allows you to add a new document template to your selected project.
Deleting DocumentsDeleting a document permanently removes that document from your existing documents and deletes all associated data.
Filtering DocumentsFiltering documents allows you to show only your documents based on their filters/types, such as 'All Documents,' 'Concept of Operations Documents Only,' 'Independent Verification & Validation Plan Documents Only,' 'Integrated Logistics Support Plan Documents Only,' 'Project Management Plan Documents Only,' 'Requirements Documents Only,' 'Standard Operating Procedure Documents Only,' 'Test Plan Documents Only.'
Renaming DocumentsRenaming a document allows you to change the name of an existing document so you can better distinguish it from your other documents.
Searching for DocumentsUsing the 'Find a Document' feature within 'Documents View' allows you to search for an existing document by Name, Number or Description.
Sorting DocumentsThe 'Sorted by' dropdown within 'Documents View' allows you to sort documents in order by Created (the date the document was created), Modified date (the date the document was last modified), Name, or Number.
Document TemplatesTemplating and accessing your templates within 'Documents View' allows you to write documents from the same template start point on selected documents. Allowing you to keep the same information on multiple documents without having to rewrite it.
Document Indicators Document Indicators to notify user of entity’s statuses on documents.
