Model Maturity Panel

This section contains more detailed information on the 'Model Maturity Panel'.

The 'Model Maturity Panel', as shown below, provides results of a five category assessment ran against your model to determine maturity. The five categories are as follows: Decomposition, Requirements Traceability, Action Performance, Input/Output, and Connection. The percentage score within each category is calculated as the number of successful passes over the total number of entity heuristics tested and displayed as a percentage. The overall model maturity score is calculated as the score of each section (maximum section score is 1) divided by the total maximum score (5). The final model maturity score is displayed as a percentage.

To refresh the percentages shown in the panel, click the 'Run Now' button to run all the checks again. For more information on which specific heuristics passed or failed and which entities caused the failure, click on the 'Show Results' button, this will open the 'Model Maturity Issues' dialog as shown below:

Model Maturity Issues Dialog

If you (or any of your collaborators) have never ran the modal maturity check against your project’s model, an alert will be displayed instead of the spark lines explaining that fact as shown below:

No Results Alert
