The Project Management dashboard offers a way for project managers and other users to view important upcoming dates and deadlines, Calendar events, track Kanban Board progress, and view hierarchical breakdowns of Kanban Boards.

Navigating to Project Management
From within a project, open the ‘MENU’ drop-down and click the ‘Project Management’ menu item under the “Tools” section.

From this view, you can jump to the filtered ‘Charts View’ for Kanban Boards or Gantt Charts where the only charts shown in that view are one or the other. You can also add other widgets such as the 'Image Card' widget that shows the latest image for that Visualization.

Calendar and Upcoming Dates
Included in the Project Management dashboard is a customizable Calendar widget. The events shown on the calendar are the built-in Holidays, Task and Kanban Board Due Date’s, and Kanban Column and Milestone Start dates. To the right of the calendar is a list of upcoming dates with the same search criteria, however, only dates occurring after the current time are shown.

Selecting a day on the calendar automatically converts the Upcoming Dates widget into a view of that day’s event details. More event details are shown in the widget for that day, including the exact time they occur and when they were last modified.

Clicking the link icon in the Upcoming Dates widget navigates to the entity view for that particular event.
If a day which has more events on it than can be shown on the Calendar is selected, the number of events on that day is displayed in the top right corner. Hovering over the events on that day allows the user to use the mouse to scroll up/down to view the other events.

Hovering over the calendar reveals the settings and search buttons. Click the [icon name="gear" prefix="far"] gear icon to open the calendar settings modal.

From here, you can choose which types of events to show or hide from the calendar. All changes made to this calendar’s settings are saved per user, so changes you make to your PM calendar widget settings will not affect other users on your project.

You also have the ability to change the background and text colors of each event type by clicking the [icon name="pencil" prefix="fas"] pencil button next to each group. To go back to the default colors, select the [icon name="eraser" prefix="fas"] eraser button next to the pencil.

As the colors change, the name of the group in the middle will change to show a preview of what your background/text color combination will look like. Hovering over the name displays the Class/Label/Attribute combination that makes up that group.

To search for an event on the calendar, click the [icon name="magnifying-glass" prefix="far"] magnifying glass icon to open the calendar search dialog.

From here, you can search for an event on the Calendar by specifying part or all of the name/number associated with the event and pressing the Enter key. This will bring up the list of all the Calendar events that match the name/number search. Click the checkbox of the event you wish to turn the Calendar page to and click ‘Confirm’.

Note: Only events that are a) associated with the current Calendar chart query and b) events that are not hidden by one of the groups will show up in the search results.
After confirming, the Calendar will automatically flip to the month of the event you selected and momentarily highlight the day that event occurs on.

To navigate back to the current month, click the ‘[icon name="calendar-day" prefix="far"] Today’ button in the toolbar.

To navigate to any specific month, click the Calendar header to bring up the popover where you can select the month and year you want the Calendar to jump to.

Hierarchy Diagram
The Project Management dashboard also includes a widget to select Hierarchy Diagrams associated with Kanban Boards.

After selecting the Kanban Board whose Hierarchy Diagram you want to view, the preview image of the diagram is shown which you can click to navigate directly to that Hierarchy Diagram.

Note: Clicking the same board option clears the selection.
Board Progress
Also included in the Project Management dashboard is the Board Progress widget which shows a bar chart of the selected Kanban Board with task counts across each column.

After selecting the Kanban Board whose progress bar chart you want to view, the bar chart with the column names and their task counts is shown. Hover over each bin to get the exact task count.

Note: Clicking the same board option clears the selection.
