Innoslate 3.1 was released and made available via the public cloud on August 18, 2014.
Below is an outline of the changes made to Innoslate which occurred after the release of Version 3.0 on July 17, 2014 and before the release of Version 3.1 on August 18, 2014.
New Features:
- Added: The ability for users with read/write project permissions to edit the project’s name, description, and preferences.
- Added: The ability for a user to preview what time would be set on an Event construct before it is dropped in the Timeline Diagram.
- Added: The ability to hide a Message construct in the Sequence Diagram.
- Added: The ability to reuse existing entities to represent new constructs in the Sequence Diagram.
- Added: The ability to add a background image to an Asset Diagram.
- Added: Automatic selection of new dropped diagram constructs in the following diagrams: Class, IDEF0/ICOM, N-Squared, Risk, Timeline, Tree/Document Tree, and Use Case.
- Added: The ability to delete from database, directly from the following diagrams: Class, IDEF0/ICOM, N-Squared, Spider, Timeline, Tree/Document Tree, and Use Case.
- Added: Automatic cleaning of hanging one-way relationships in the Action Diagram.
Enhancements:
- Improved: User experience when file browsing to select an image to upload into Innoslate.
- Improved: Warning message explaining Import Analyzer is unavailable to users with read only project permissions.
- Improved: User experience when creating a new Timeline Diagram, the diagram now displays three nodes from the beginning, by default.
- Improved: Support for line breaks in the description attribute field in Entity View.
- Improved: Drag-and-drop user experience when adding a new Found Message construct in the Sequence Diagram.
- Improved: Sorting of Input/Output/Control constructs in the IDEF0/ICOM Diagram.
- Improved: User experience visualizing document artifacts in the 3D Traceability Diagram.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed: Issue which caused the Hide Label button to no longer work after adding a Branch Asset in the Action Diagram.
- Fixed: Issue preventing academic plan users from accessing the Monte Carlo simulator.
- Fixed: Issue with rendering bulleted lists properly in Requirements View, Documents Views, and downloaded DOCX reports.
- Fixed: Issue with collapse all/expand all after switching between documents in Requirements View.
- Fixed: Issue with expanding and collapsing using the Hierarchy tab in the sidebar of Requirements View.
- Fixed: Issue which caused images not to appear in Asset Diagram reports.
- Fixed: Issue with deleting Branch Asset constructs in the Action Diagram.
- Fixed: Issue with placement saving of diagram constructs in the following diagrams: I-Squared, N-Squared, Timeline, and Tree/Document Tree.
- Fixed: Issue which caused the Hierarchy Chart to re-render unnecessarily.
- Fixed: Issue with line directionality of Conduit constructs in the Asset Diagram.
